CARLSBAD, Calif., January 10, 2017 — Callaway Golf introduced today an ultra- premium wedge called Mack Daddy Forged, created by the industry’s preeminent master of wedge design, Roger Cleveland.
The appealing new shape, forged of soft 1025c steel, delivers exceptionally satisfying feel and response on every shot. Less offset, a squarer toe and a straighter leading edge create a clean, confidence-inducing appearance at address to promote crisp contact and command control.
High spin comes from the new Mack Daddy 16-groove configuration that incorporates an added groove at the bottom, close to the leading edge, to promote added stopping power, especially on pitches and chips.
The new •R• sole grind gives Mack Daddy Forged wedges the kind of versatility necessary to play a variety of shots from the types of grasses a Tour pro faces, from the sticky kikuyu of Torrey Pines to the thick rye- and bluegrass of Bethpage Black to the firm, tight turf of St. Andrews. The clearly defined crescent sole and mid bounce makes a broad range of greenside shots easy to play, from square-faced skippers to open-faced flops and everything in between.
Added control comes from progressive CG positioning, in which the CG gradually moves upward as the loft of each wedge increases. This promotes a lower and easier-to-control flight in the higher lofts without sacrificing spin, making it easier to attack the pin.
Mack Daddy Forged wedges are available in two finishes: Satin Chrome with a thin copper strike layer for enhanced feel, and Brushed Slate for a raw look that gradually rusts over time.
“Roger’s unique talent for working with Tour pros and understanding the nuances of what they want in a wedge’s look, feel and performance is unparalleled,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway senior vice president of R&D. “That, and his extraordinary knowledge of all that’s necessary to bring a wedge from initial concept to finished club, is what makes the new Mack Daddy Forged wedges ultra-premium.”
Mack Daddy Forged wedges come equipped with True Temper’s Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shaft (the most popular wedge shaft on the PGA Tour) and a Lamkin UTx grip custom-designed to promote outstanding traction and feedback to help execute delicate, feel-focused shots.
Mack Daddy Forged wedge availability begins January 20th at a new product introduction retail price of $149 per club.
Pink golf ball would be the 1st in history of PGA Tour
Volvik announced today that Bubba Watson has officially signed a multi-year deal to play and endorse the company’s line of extreme performance golf balls. Watson is set to choose from three different color Volvik golf balls, starting with their pink, pearl blue/white and green versions of their S4 4-piece, 105-compression golf ball.
“I was naturally intrigued by the colors Volvik offers,” said Watson. “Then I started testing the ball and saw what I could do with it. It does everything I want it to: go high, go low, curve, spin and it has the distance I’m looking for. I’m always trying to find new ways to grow the game and have fun out there and Volvik’s approach is the same. I couldn’t be more excited to have a colorful start to the year with Volvik!”
His first time playing a Volvik golf ball in an official PGA TOUR event will be in Thursday’s first round of the SBS Tournament of Champions, an event he qualified for by winning the 2016 Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club last February.
“Bubba Watson is a world-class player and champion of our sport, a top 10 player in the world that has an extraordinary appeal that attracts a huge fan base,” said Volvik USA President Don Shin. “His choice to represent Volvik on the PGA TOUR is the biggest news in our 36-year history of manufacturing and selling golf balls. This signing validates our position as world leaders in golf ball innovation at the very highest level, but it is also equally exciting for golf in general as we feel expanding colors onto the PGA TOUR will help grow the game in new and exciting ways. I feel it will lead to a new future for the game to have such a charismatic, talented and extremely long hitting ambassador on Team Volvik hitting different color golf balls on the world’s biggest stage.”
Watson’s impressive career includes two major championships (2012 and 2014 Masters) and nine total PGA TOUR victories. He’s also a three-time Ryder cup member and a two-time Presidents Cup team member, winning the event in 2011.
Watson is among the longest drivers on the PGA TOUR. In 2016, he posted an average drive of 310.6 yards, ranking him 4th in driving distance on the PGA TOUR. Watson is capable of generating ball speed up to 195 MPH, making him the perfect fit for Volvik’s 105-compression S4, one of the few available balls in golf with that high of a compression.
“We had a special new shade of pink made up just for Bubba in our S4 golf ball,” said National Director of Sales and Marketing for Volvik USA Jon Claffey. “If it makes it into play at the Tournament of Champions, it will be the first time a pink golf ball has ever been put into play in PGA TOUR history. It has been USGA approved and is currently in production to bring in to sell to the consumer. The green S4 he has requested should be ready by the Waste Management Phoenix Open. We are forming a pre-order list for anyone interested in playing the same exact ball that Bubba is playing.”
Watson will be featured in Volvik’s print, digital, broadcast and social marketing globally as a Volvik staff player and ambassador. He will also wear the Volvik logo on his right sleeve during all golf related events. Volvik expects Watson to be extremely active in helping to plan and implement the company’s marketing strategies.
Watson is joining a professional staff that has had significant success on their respective professional tours. Volvik has experienced more color golf balls in play on the world’s professional tours than any other manufacturer in the history of golf with over 900 instances of different color golf balls being put into play with five different colors.
Volvik is one of the most played golf ball manufacturers on the LPGA Tour over the past four seasons. Their staff players have won three LPGA Tour events with different colors, including the first and second ever orange golf ball victories in the history of the LPGA Tour.
Volvik hosts their own LPGA Tour event, the LPGA Volvik Championship, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their second year of being the title sponsor of the LPGA Tour event will take place May 25-28 at Travis Pointe Country Club.
Volvik is no stranger to the PGA TOUR, as they have been in play in 29 different PGA TOUR events by staff player Tim Petrovic over the past three seasons. Petrovic earned a runner-up finish on the PGA TOUR with a Volvik ball in 2015 after losing in a playoff at the Puerto Rico Open. Petrovic will continue to play orange and yellow Volvik golf balls on both the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour in 2017.
Volvik is the #1 Color Golf Ball on Tour with over 75 professionals using Volvik’s ultra high-performance color golf balls on the world’s professional tours. Since 2012, players using Volvik golf balls have earned over $9 million in prize money on the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, Web.com<http://Web.com> Tour, Ladies European Tour, LAGT and Symetra Tour with 15 victories and over 130 Top 10 finishes.
Volvik is also now the official golf ball of World Long Championship Drive championships and qualifying series. The winner of the 2016 WLD won with drives of 439 and 437 yards with orange and pink Volvik golf balls.
Volvik has experienced more color golf balls in play on the world’s professional tours than any other manufacturer in the history of golf. Volvik is dedicated to the production of specialized 3- and 4-piece multi-layer golf balls that feature 41 worldwide patents.
In over 35 years of golf ball production, Volvik has developed a reputation based on highly innovative development, quickly becoming one of the most significant and trusted golf ball manufacturers in the world.
CARLSBAD, Calif., January 4, 2017 — Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today introduced the Great Big Bertha Epic Sub Zero Driver, a true paradigm shift in tour driver performance.
“Tour drivers typically emphasize the performance better players want most – speed, low spin and control – at the expense of forgiveness,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway’s senior vice president of R&D. “GBB Epic Sub Zero’s combination of tour performance and forgiveness make it a breakthrough in driver engineering.”
Epic Sub Zero’s power is based on Callaway’s innovative new Jailbreak Technology, which fundamentally changes how the head and clubface behave at impact to deliver more ball speed and distance. At impact, a metalwood’s face flexes and the crown bulges upward while the sole bulges downward. Jailbreak bars form a firm connection between the crown and sole to inhibit their flexing. That puts more of the load of impact on the face. Physicists call this “energy lensing.” In Epic, it promotes faster ball speed for more distance.
“Jailbreak Technology creates a new and remarkably efficient working relationship between the face, crown and sole to promote faster ball speed across more of the face to give the golfer more distance,” said Hocknell.
Epic Sub Zero’s clubhead consists of Callaway’s aerospace-grade titanium Exo-cage outfitted with a crown and sole panels made of triaxial carbon, an extraordinarily light and strong composite material developed by Callaway. A full 50 percent of the head’s surface area consists of triaxial carbon. The crown weighs just 10.8g, the sole panels just 7.4g. The weight saved is strategically repositioned to create Epic Sub Zero’s extraordinarily high MOI (or Moment of Inertia), which measures a full 40 percent higher than the Big Bertha 816 Driver (when Epic Sub Zero’s heavier interchangeable weight is in back).
Two interchangeable weights (12g and 2g) positioned at the front and back of the sole, which can be used in tandem with the Optifit hosel, give players the ability to adjust the spin-rate, the launch angle and MOI.
Epic Sub Zero’s unique head construction allows Callaway engineers to position the Center of Gravity low, deep and in line with the head’s neutral axis, which is defined as a line that intersects the geometric center of the face and runs perpendicular to the loft. The CG location, in particular CG height, is often measured relative to the neutral axis.
Head speed gets a boost from Callaway’s Speed Step technology. Designed with the direction of aerospace experts, the Speed Step, located on the crown, improves aerodynamics for more speed and distance.
“Callaway engineers paid particular attention to the shape, aesthetics and acoustics to make Epic Sub Zero great to look at and agreeable to listen to,” said Hocknell. “The Tour-inspired shape is sleek and confidence-inspiring. The triaxial carbon weave visible on the rear half of the crown, and the vibrant green highlights on the head, shaft and grip, together create a dynamic appearance from every angle.”
Four premium, Tour-proven stock shafts are available, all engineered to deliver an outstanding combination of speed, power, feel and control. A long list of custom after-market shafts is also available.
GBB Epic Sub Zero driver availability begins January 27, 2017 at a new product introductory retail price of $499.
Also announced today, Callaway Golf will bring a complementary Great Big Bertha Epic Driver, also featuring Jailbreak Technology, and a full line of GBB Epic Fairway Woods. These clubs will also be available starting January 27, 2017.
CARLSBAD, Calif., January 4, 2017 — Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) has introduced the Great Big Bertha Epic, a driver that incorporates Callaway’s innovative new Jailbreak ball speed technology. Jailbreak changes the fundamental way the head behaves at impact to promote more distance for every type of player.
“Jailbreak Technology creates a new and remarkably efficient working relationship between the face, crown and sole to promote faster ball speed across more of the face to give the golfer more distance,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway’s senior vice president of R&D.
The key structural components of a driver – crown, sole and face – deform at impact. Because they’re connected, they influence each other’s dynamics. Jailbreak incorporates two slender titanium bars positioned parallel to each other behind the face, connected to the crown and sole. The size, strength and position of each bar creates a new dynamic relationship between the crown, sole and face. The result is a profound change in how the head, as a whole, behaves at impact, resulting in more speed across a much larger area of the face.
Epic’s clubhead consists of Callaway’s new aerospace-grade titanium Exo-cage outfitted with a crown and sole panels made of triaxial carbon, an extraordinarily light and strong composite material developed by Callaway. Nearly half of the head’s surface – 46 percent — consists of triaxial carbon, with the crown weighing just 9.7g and the sole just 5.8g. That’s the lightest crown of any Callaway driver currently on the market.
Epic’s multi-material structure is incredibly light and strong, with high MOI and a low, deep- back CG that makes it ultra-easy to launch the ball on a high angle with low spin.
Epic’s increased accuracy is rooted in Callaway’s Adjustable Perimeter Weighting technology,
an invaluable feature that allows golfers to quickly and easily adjust the club to fit their swing. Compared to previous Callaway drivers, Epic’s track has been redesigned and the sliding weight has been increased to 17 grams, both for good reason: to deliver a full 21 yards of shot-shape correction (a 22 percent increase compared to last season’s Great Big Bertha) to dial in straighter, more accurate flight while maintaining high MOI (or Moment of Inertia).
Head speed gets an additional boost from Callaway’s proven Speed Step technology. Devised with the help of aerospace experts, the Speed Step, located on the crown, improves head aerodynamics for more speed and distance.
Callaway engineers paid particular attention to the shape, aesthetics and acoustics to make Epic pleasing to the eye and the ear. The Tour-inspired shape is sleek, aerodynamic and confidence- inspiring. The triaxial carbon weave visible on the rear half of the crown, along with the vibrant green highlights, give Epic a pleasingly different appearance.
Four premium, Tour-proven stock-shafts are available, distinguished by weight class and each engineered to promote a formidable combination of speed, power, stability, feel and control: Project X HZRDS Green, MRC Diamana Greenboard, Fujikura Pro Green and Aldila Rogue Max. A long list of custom after-market shafts is also available.
GBB Epic is so-named because it legitimately represents an epic shift in the way the head and face behave to enhance power, spearheaded by Jailbreak ball speed technology and the clubhead’s innovative Exo-Cage/triaxial carbon construction. Any golfer seeking an extraordinarily long, accurate and easy-to-launch driver, from scratch players to high handicappers should find more speed, distance and accuracy with GBB Epic.
GBB Epic driver availability begins at retailers nationwide and on CallawayGolf.com<http://CallawayGolf.com> January 27, 2017 at the new product introduction price of $499.
Also announced today, Callaway Golf will bring a complementary Great Big Bertha Epic Sub Zero Driver, which marries tour performance characteristics with forgiveness in a true paradigm shift, and a full line of GBB Epic Woods. These clubs will also be available starting January 27, 2017.
CARLSBAD, Calif., January 4, 2017 — Callaway Golf Company today introduced Great Big Bertha Epic fairway woods, which incorporate Callaway’s revolutionary and proprietary triaxial carbon composite material to enhance forgiveness, power and accuracy.
Epic fairway woods employ a triaxial carbon crown that weighs just 5.8g, making it an incredible 78 percent lighter than a steel fairway wood crown. The saved weight is redistributed into strategic locations within the head to dramatically increase MOI and lower the CG, making Epic fairway woods extraordinarily easy to launch.
Distance is enhanced by the fourth generation of Callaway’s proven Hyper Speed Face Cup technology. In this generation, the thin and flexible rim around the inner side of the face flexes and releases more uniformly and efficiently at impact to increase ball speed across the face, especially toward the bottom.
Distance is further boosted by Callaway’s proven Speed Step technology. Designed with the help of aerospace experts, the Speed Step, located on the crown, improves the head’s aerodynamics to promote more speed.
GBB Epic fairway woods are offered in five lofts — 3+, 3, 5, 7, 9, Heavenwood.
“GBB Epic fairway woods are targeted at any golfer seeking an extraordinarily long, accurate and easy-to-launch fairway wood,” said Evan Gibbs, Directory – Woods R&D. “Callaway’s triaxial carbon crown construction, next-generation Hyper Speed Face and Speed Step technologies work together to enhance any golfer’s average ball speed and distance, from scratch players to high handicappers.”
GBB Epic fairway wood availability begins January 27 at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $279 per club. There will also be a GBB Epic Sub Zero line fairway woods available in 13.5- degree, 15-degree and 18-degree lofts. This Epic Sub Zero model features adjustable weight screws for lower spin capability.
Former No. 1 in world golf rankings to play Bridgestone Tour B330-S golf ball
COVINGTON, Ga. (December 14, 2016) – Bridgestone Golf, a leading manufacturer of premium golf balls, clubs and accessories – announced today that it has signed Tiger Woods to a multi-year agreement to exclusively play and promote its high-performance golf balls.
Woods, whose decorated career includes a record run of 683 weeks as the top-ranked golfer in the world, selected the Bridgestone Tour B330-S ball after thoroughly testing it against competing models from all major brands. Through his personal research, Woods determined the Bridgestone ball provided superior distance and accuracy off the tee for him, as well as optimal spin on shots into and around the green.
“Finding the right golf ball is extremely important. It’s an essential part of my equipment, and the Bridgestone B330-S ball is hands-down the best for my game,” said Woods. “Controlling launch and trajectory is critical, and with this ball I feel I have total control to hit all shots accurately. I’m not just here to play – I’m here to win, and the innovative breakthroughs of the Bridgestone B330-S ball can help me do that.”
Woods’ findings align with what Bridgestone ball-fitting sessions with amateurs have proven. Data from these sessions show the B330-S flies six yards longer* and is more accurate than the leading competitors. Bridgestone golf balls have a record of success for Tour players, as well. FedEx Cup champion Brandt Snedeker, Olympic bronze medalist Matt Kuchar, Masters winner Fred Couples, three-time major champion Nick Price and rising star Bryson DeChambeau are Bridgestone Golf ambassadors, while scores of fellow professionals – including 2016 winners on the PGA and LPGA Tours – choose to use Bridgestone balls without compensation.
“No one spends more time perfecting their equipment than Tiger Woods, and no one holds their equipment to a higher standard,” says Angel Ilagan, President and CEO, Bridgestone Golf. “His choice of Bridgestone sends a clear message that our golf balls are superior to all others.”
As part of the partnership, Woods will be featured in digital, social, print and broadcast marketing globally as a Bridgestone Golf ambassador. The winner of 14 major championships and 79 PGA Tour events is also excited to support the popular Bridgestone ball-fitting program, which he believes can stimulate a new generation of golfers and increase enjoyment for all players.
“Bridgestone wants to make golf easier for everyone,” said Woods. “Knowing that every golfer’s game and swing is unique, it works to match each individual with the best ball for his or her game. If you’re not switching to Bridgestone, you’re missing out on better scores and a better experience.”
Bridgestone introduced the Tour B330-S in early 2016 after more than four years of research and development. The catalyst for distance and accuracy gains over leading competitors is the patented TOURcore. Now six percent larger than the prior model, it produces even faster speed and less spin off the driver via Bridgestone’s gradational core formulation. For increased greenside control, the B330-S wears the breakthrough SlipRes cover, which increases stopping power without the usual negative effects of added driver spin.

Sam Brazel produced a stunning approach shot to the final hole to set up the brilliant birdie which defeated Rafa Cabrera Bello by one shot and secured his first European Tour title at the UBS Hong Kong Open.
The Australian began the week ranked 480th in the Official World Golf Ranking but entered the final day at Hong Kong Golf Club tied at the top of the leaderboard alongside Ryder Cup star Cabrera Bello in just his 17th European Tour appearance.
At one point there were six players in a tie for the lead on the back nine but Brazel held off a group with 11 European Tour titles between them, and an eight-foot putt on the last handed him a closing 68 and a 13 under par total.
Cabrera Bello had birded the 16th and 17th to set up a grandstand finish down the last but he could only make a par and finish 12 under as Brazel’s incredible approach set up just the second birdie of the day on the closing hole.
Australian Andrew Dodt and England’s Tommy Fleetwood were then at 11 under, a shot clear of American David Lipsky and two ahead of Masters Champion Danny Willett.
Brazel was visibly emotional as he lifted the trophy and the 37 year old credited a new set of clubs with helping get him over the line. The Australian is expected to move into the top 150 in the world when the rankings are published on Monday.
Sam Brazel: “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been playing good but it’s been a bit of a struggle with the old irons but I got set up with a new set of clubs, and it’s all sort of turned around. This is the fruit. I wouldn’t say I got the shot into the last straight out of the middle but I’m pretty stoked where it finished, I’ll tell you.
“I think I still had some nerves on the first tee today, but I settled in pretty quickly today. It wasn’t as bad as yesterday. I had a great playing partner in Rafa. I was stoked to play with him for the last two days. It was a thrill to be out there the last few days and I hope that continues and I have a lot more days like this in the future. I am really looking forward to getting over to Europe and playing on the European Tour. It will be a great privilege.”
Rafa Cabrera Bello: “Obviously the week if you look at it overall, it’s a great week, finishing second. Just a little disappointed today. I managed to start good again but then struggled halfway through the front nine. I battled back really hard again, same as yesterday. But then Sam just played a fantastic 18th hole.
“Obviously I am still proud of the performance. I messed up a little obviously on seven and eight but I stayed calm and waited for my chances. I gave myself lots of opportunities. Some didn’t fall, but at the end, 16 and 17, they were two great putts that did go in. The one on 18th, almost, as well. In the end, it’s a good week. It’s just a bitter taste finishing runner-up.”

USGA conforming golf club to revitalize driver category; signature “vertical grooves” design element proven to deliver greater distance and better accuracy
Boston, MA … November 16, 2016 … Vertical Groove Golf, LLC, the golf industry’s newest original equipment manufacturer, today introduced the cutting-edge Vertical Groove Driver, the first USGA conforming golf club to enter the market featuring vertical groove technology on the club face – which is proven to deliver greater distance and better accuracy off the tee.
The Vertical Groove Driver’s signature design element – vertical grooves on the club face – reduces side spin at impact, leading to 40% straighter ball flight on average. The configurations of the vertical grooves also help alleviate a golfer’s tendency to hook and slice their drive, which promotes better accuracy. Additionally, the vertical configurations, an array of shorter vertical grooves combined with vertical land areas perpendicular to the club face, help golfers generate greater energy at impact, resulting in a stronger forward roll and increased driving distance.
Backed by proven research and extensive testing by Golf Laboratories, Inc., the leading independent golf club testing facility in San Diego, CA, the Vertical Groove Driver consistently outperformed the top drivers in spin rate and distance, as well as center, heel and toe dispersion.
“The performance attributes of the Vertical Groove Driver will benefit all golfers, including low-handicappers and golfers that have a tendency to hook or slice off the tee,” said Rubin Hanan, Managing Partner, Vertical Groove Golf, LLC. “Vertical Groove technology on the club face reduces side spin at impact, while generating more forward spin, resulting in better accuracy and increased distance off the tee.”
“I’ve had the good fortune to find and use a driver with a new concept that maximizes distance and improves direction,” said Mike Schultz, 2012 PGA Professional of the Year. “The Vertical Groove Driver is as long, or longer than any other driver I have ever used and is noticeably straighter because I hit more fairways. My average drive has increased dramatically and I also found that the sound and feel at impact is what I want in a driver. I would have never known it, if I hadn’t given it a try. Give it a chance and try it!”
Available in both right and left handed models, the 450cc Vertical Groove Driver is offered in 9.5, 10.5 and 12 degree lofts, and features a full range of Aldila premium grade, tour proven aftermarket NV2K series shafts as standard. The available flexes include: 45 gram L (Ladies), 50 gram A (Senior), 55 gram R (Regular), 65 gram S (Stiff) and 65 gram X (Extra-stiff). At a length of 45.75 inches, the Vertical Groove Driver provides an optimum launch angle while maximizing carry distance and ball speed for many players. It is equipped with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips in standard, midsize and oversize models. Alternative shaft options from Fujikura, Mitsubishi and Aldila will also be available. Suggested retail price of the Vertical Groove Driver is $399.99, and the product will be available in December 2016.
“We’ve tested golf’s only Vertical Groove Driver with TOUR players, PGA Professionals, amateurs and junior golfers, and the results have been tremendous,” said Jeff Barry, CEO, Vertical Groove Golf, LLC. “Vertical Groove technology is a game changer for the golf industry.”

Basingstoke, Hants. (18th October, 2016) – TaylorMade Golf Company announced today the forthcoming release of an entirely new line of putters, named the TP Collection, landing in March/April 2017. Comprised of 6 distinct models, five of which feature a 303 stainless steel construction for solid feel and skim-milled machining for exacting contours, the TP Collection utilises new materials and new milling processes not only to enhance the aesthetics of each putter, but also to improve the product’s performance.
nspired by the insert played by the #1 & #2 golfers in the world Jason Day and Dustin Johnson, each TP putter employs TaylorMade’s new Pure Roll insert for improved roll. The insert combines 45° grooves with a softer polymer to promote better forward roll and reduce skidding across varying surfaces. The composition and construction of the Pure Roll insert is specially engineered to bring the grooves into direct and active contact with the ball during impact, even on short putts. The grooves in the face also serve in part to strategically soften the insert’s structure. Together, these factors make the insert perform at a very high level.
The new naming convention for the putters within the TP Collection draws inspiration from areas, regions, and landmarks of some of the world’s greatest golf destinations and historic courses.
Juno & Soto
Juno and Soto are classically designed blade putters with heel-toe weighting for optimized balance, control and feel. The Juno (first played by Sergio Garcia in Hazeltine at the Ryder Cup) features longer squared off contours with a single sightline on top. The pads also have fine linear machine lines. The Soto retains short, rounded and soft edges with a single sightline in the back cavity. Each blade-style model comes stock with a plumber’s neck hosel. The Soto hosel has a classic scalloped hosel for a slightly lighter weight. Both heads feature two 10 gram weights in the sole.
Mullen & Berwick
Mullen and Berwick make up the classic mallet tour proven models of the TP Collection. Mullen boasts a more compact mallet design with two sightlines on the back cavity and a short “S” hosel that allows for a slight toe hang of 38 degrees. Berwick is the more traditional rounded mallet shape with a thicker topline and single sightline on the back cavity. Berwick also includes a slight step-down cavity and a single bend ¾ shaft offset to create a face-balanced hang. Both mallets feature two 5 gram weights in the sole.
Ardmore & Chaska
Arriving in 2017, Ardmore and Chaska add mid-size modern mallets to the TP Collection. Ardmore features a deep cavity with dual sightlines to improve balance and alignment. The Ardmore is 355 grams and cast from 303 stainless steel for a larger MOI. The shaft is a double bend with ¾ offset, face balanced with 3.5 degrees loft. The Tour proven Chaska revisits the design of the original TaylorMade Corza Ghost with the familiar circular alignment aid in the back of the putter and three sightlines on top. The Chaska is also face balanced and has ¾ shaft offset. Both mid-size mallets include the precise milling and Pure Roll insert associated with the TP Collection of putters.
