MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the second week in a row, True Temper's Rifle shafts garnered a decisive victory, this time at the Verizon Heritage. True Temper's 16th PGA Tour victory of the season came just one week after Rifle shafts, known for producing tour-winning accuracy and distance shot after shot, won the 2009 Masters Tournament.

The Verizon Heritage champion played Rifle shafts in his irons and won by 10 strokes at historic Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C. He finished at 20-under 264 which broke the 13-year-old scoring record at Harbour Town. Additionally, 90 percent of the Top finishers at the Verizon Heritage played shafts manufactured by True Temper.

"Harbour Town Golf Links is a favorite course for many PGA Tour professionals so it's always fun to win here. But to completely dominate a professional field and win by 10 shots is truly an astonishing feat," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports. "It is no coincidence that many of the world's top-ranked players prefer Project X and Rifle shafts. These shafts provide tighter shot dispersion, better control, greater distance with improved accuracy, and a smooth, yet solid feel at impact."

16 of Top 18 Finishers at Champions Tour Event Trust Titleist Golf Balls for Their Success

Fairhaven, MA (February 23, 2009) – Loren Roberts birdied three of his final four holes to secure a come-from-behind victory at the ACE Group Classic. It marked the ninth career Champions Tour title for Roberts, including his second at this event, having first won it in 2006. Roberts, who relied upon the Pro V1 golf ball, closed with a 4-under 68 to finish the 54-hole contest at 7-under 209, one shot clear of second-round leader and Pro V1x loyalist, Gene Jones. Jones fired three consecutive 2-under 70's to match the best finish of his Champions Tour career.

Two-time Masters champions and Titleist Pro V1 players Ben Crenshaw and Bernhard Langer were among four players to share third place, including James Mason, who played the New 2009 Pro V1x. The foursome finished at 5-under 211. Of the six players who finished tied for 3rd place or better, five relied upon Titleist for their success. In fact, 16 of the top 18 finishers trusted Titleist golf balls.

BUICK INVITATIONAL MARKS 24TH STRAIGHT #1 FOR ADAMS

The Buick Invitational was the 24th consecutive PGA Tour event that we’ve had the #1 Hybrid in play, according to the Darrell Survey. And going back farther than that, we’ve won the hybrid count at 28 of the past 29 tournaments on tour.
34.9% of all the hybrids played at the event were Idea Hybrids (including the Idea Pro, which was in the bag of John Rollins who finished T2.) We had 13 more hybrids in play at this year’s Buick Invitational compared to last season — a great sign of continued growth.
