Stop shanking the ball – a simple drill to learn how to stop hitting the dreaded shot

A shank is created from coming over the top of the shot. Use two tees in this drill to learn how to stop shanking the ball. Place one tee your normal postion and the other tee about two balls apart. Stretch to the second tee and then swing the club trying to hit the first tee. When you are ready try with a ball in the postion of the first tee. This helps you create an out-to-in swing shape and stop you coming over the top and this will help you to stop shanking the ball.
