Fourteen Golf Introduces Its New St-110 Driver With A Hybrid Titanium Crown E-mail
IRVINE, CA - JUNE 8, 2010 - FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, proudly announced that the company will release its new ST-110 Driver at the peak of the golf season.

As the golf season goes into full swing, FOURTEEN GOLF will be shipping its high performance, four-piece, Titanium ST-110 Driver into retail. According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, "Golfers will SOON enjoy how well they execute their shots with this new driver. Its state-of-the art technology provides the deadly combination of power, distance and consistency."

The engineering team at FOURTEEN GOLF designed the ST-110 Driver with a four-piece customized head. The aerodynamic crown combines two different types of Titanium. A 15-3-3 is specifically used close to the clubface and a KS-100 is precisely used near the rear portion of the club. These incredibly light Titanium materials allowed the engineers to move the CG toward the sole. This placement creates a higher launch angle for significantly longer drives. It also helps the driver appear smaller with a more traditional look.

In addition to its unique hybrid crown, the ST-110 Driver features a clubface that actually transitions in its thickness. The center measures with more depth at 3.9mm and then gradually reduces to 2.1mm at the parameter. This exclusive, innovative, cup-faced design promotes consistency as well as provides a unique audio sound most connect with pure contact.

For easy and effortless drives, the clubface is designed with a shallow clubface which measures at 48mm and is complimented with a wider than usual width. These two technical features are enhanced and set with a MOI of 4,132 g*cm that makes it really easy for any golfer to produce powerful and consistent drive, even on a mis-hits.

Recently, FOURTEEN GOLF celebrated Twenty-Five Top-10 finishes, six came from the Sybase Match Play Championship where the company was represented in each of the groupings one in the Whitworth, Wright, and Berg Groups. And, three players in the Sorenstam Group played FOURTEEN GOLF equipment to round out the group to six.

The Twenty-five Top-10 finishes this year included five on the PGA Tour starting with the Verizon Heritage, Shell Houston Open, PLAYERS Championship and (2) at the HP Byron Nelson. On the LPGA (3) Top-10 finishes were captured at the HSBC Women's Champions, (2) clinched at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, (2) from the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand, (3) at the Kia Classic Presented by J Golf, (1) secured at the Mojo Jamaican Invitational, (1) at the Tres Maria Championship, (1) from the Bell South LPGA Classic and (6) impressive Top-10s at the Sybase Match Play Championship. To round out the list, a Top-10 was also claimed at the BMW Pro-Am on the Nationwide Tour.

Miura Golf Announces Its New K Grind Wedges E-mail
VANCOUVER, British Columbia-Japanese golf-club manufacturer Miura Golf-which has been making the world's highest-quality forged irons for 44 years-announces the K Grind wedge.

"We are very excited about the release of the K Grind wedge", says Bill Holowaty, the VP of North American Operations for Miura Golf. "The unique sole design (each wedge grinded by hand) delivers uncompromised performance to your short game."

The international golfing press has always used the words "from the hands of god" to describe Katsuhiro Miura's forged irons. Could it be that the inspiration for his newest wedge came from his own hands? The sole of the new K Grind wedge is "fluted" which bears a striking resemblance to finger-tip impressions, or even human knuckles. These three channels reduce the resistance against the wedge in sand, thick rough, and even the fairway. The sole of the wedge moves with the grass instead of against it. The channels move around the sand instead of colliding with it. It allows the wedge to accelerate thru the ball with less effort in every condition to improve the odds of hitting a good shot.

Characteristics of the K Grind Wedge:
* Better results out of wet sand.
* Reduces the odds of "catching it heavy" on long bunker shots.
* Better acceleration on ½ and ¼ swings around the green.
* Digs it out of deep rough.
* Works great in normal conditions.

In addition to the K Grind wedges, Miura Golf's product line also includes the CB-501 Cavity Back Model, Tournament Blade; MC-102 (Mid-Size Cavity Model); CB-202 (Cavity Back Model): CB-301 (Cavity Back Model); Wedges (Wedge Series and Black Wedge Series, each available in six lofts); Series 1957 Small Blade Irons; Y and C Grind Wedges; Blade and Classic putters (two models); Precious Edition Driver, Fairway Wood and Utility Wood.
