Most people believe that a putting stroke is “straight back and straight through” in otherwords the putter head does not deviate off the line during the swing. That is not entirely true, watch this great tip about the arc of the swing.
Do you want to putt like Ben Crenshaw ? Why not learn from the master putter.
Ben’s 3 top tips:
1. Let your arms hang so you don’t feel any tension in the shoulders.
2. Grip the putter lightly so the head of the putter feels heavy and it will do the work for you.
3. Stand slightly open the line of the putt so you can ‘see’ what you have to do. That will also allow you arms to swing through on the line.
