Golf Driver Reviews

The Ping i2o – The Ping i15 has been improved on and morphed into the Ping i20 – The engineers at Ping have improved the weight distribution giving a little more forgiveness for the better player and changed the club design from a fade bias to neutral. The internal weightsand COG (Centre of Gravity) have been optimized to produce  a low spin rate giving more roll on the fairways and less sideways movement in the air. The club is aero-dynamically designed and provides less drag and therefore more speed.

Hitting review – The i15 was about fade bias – the i20 is about neutral bias and workablity.

The Nike VRS Driver –  The variable thinkness face is designed to the forgiveness of off-center hits. The club employs the NIKE SRT8 adjustable technology allowing the club face to be adjusted 8 ways in 4 degree range. The club head design is intended to reduce drag. The “S” in VRS is speed – that is what it has been achieved : speed = distance. The Ultra thin face construction of the NIKE Nexcor technology makes this club light yet strong this creates and very hot face.  Golf Digest Hot List – Gold
